How can I make my husband appreciate me more? More Romance?
My husband hasn’t changed much since we got married, so I know expecting him to change a bunch is the wrong Idea. my husband and I have been married for 2 years, he has never gotten me a card… the small gestures that make me feel like I am on cloud 9 never really happen and I think he feels that when he buys me something big his work is done for the year. I have told him that I would like a card or flowers once in a while and he ignores me… its like he is hearing me but not listening. He gives me a blank stare like im speaking german… how can I help my husband make me happy? I get him cards and flowers and his favorite meals and drinks and clean, massages??? please help!
It sounds like he isn’t really caring for your wants*.
I know what you mean, ‘It’s the little things that count’. Something
as small as a card, and a beautiful bouquet of flowers, can REALLY make
our heart flutter out to space.
I think you should talk to him some more. Tell him that if HE doesn’t
start paying attention to your wants/needs, then YOU aren’t going
to do so-so for him. It’s supposed to be a 2 person thing.
